Bereavement Poetry and Prose

Would you like to contribute to this page?

Many bereaved parents find it helpful to share their experiences with others and to hear from parents in similar positions to themselves. As part of our grief support, we are building a database of stories, meaningful poems or prose that have helped you or others through the grieving process. These meaningful words offer reassurance, relief from distress, or a much-needed conncection to someone who understands.

Angels

Angels

Angels are special we all have our own

luckily my angel

was very close to home

My mother she is

and one of my best friends

me loving her will never come to an end

Don't put her out of mind

because she's out of sight

Pray and speak to her

every single night

Never shall we forget her

our angel from above

Who gave love to everyone

and whom everyone showed love

The times she's made us laugh

the times she's made us cry

The loving memory of her

will never ever die

Written specially for her Mum by Megan
