Many bereaved parents find it helpful to share their experiences with others and to hear from parents in similar positions to themselves. As part of our grief support, we are building a database of stories, meaningful poems or prose that have helped you or others through the grieving process. These meaningful words offer reassurance, relief from distress, or a much-needed conncection to someone who understands.

Rosie
Rosie
You were born into this world on your special day,
So small and perfect in every way,
And as you were nourished you grew from a bud into a beautiful bloom,
But like the rose you were delicate and fragile and you sensed the winds were gathering.
Until the time that you knew was right to let your petals fall,
And as they gently floated away so did your pain and suffering,
So as we think of you our memories will grow,
And you will always know.
